Finding my way round

Welcome to my world of textile art…..should read welcome to my world of textile art if I only knew how to blog!

I guess it is a matter of just trying things out and seeing what happens. So I am currently typing my script in the visual display box because I like to be able to see everything I have written.

The picture I posted is a detail shot of my entry to the Art Quilt category in the Festival of Quilts 2009. It is called no9 red shoes, has mixed fibres and made from a wide variety of re-cycled/up-cycled cloth.

I have still to learn how to present the image the right way up.I guess this is how it will be learn as you go!
