I made another, different drawing today, using the drawing tool from Oregon College of Art and Crafts website, but it seems they haven’t sent it to me…..

The heart/hand is a motif has been around since the Shaker’s and is intended to represent ‘Hand’s to Work , Heart to God’. Reading about the Shaker’s for the first time today, I learn about their equality policy as well as their wealth of innovation, creativity. They thought that making something well, was in itself ‘an act of prayer’ and they made ‘gift drawings’…
