Here are a few shots of Re:Love#2, the second handbag or purse, as it is known in the US, in the recycled with love series. This is a new theme I am exploring, using colour and pre loved cloth. It has machine quilting and lots of padding to give the bag/purse shape substance and character. The inside view is a little unclear due to the strip lighting in the studio, it is actually a lovely creamy satin with a slip pocket and fabric facings. Do you think I have achieved my aim? Have I created a bag with character and personality? Re:Love#2 will be in the soon to be opened shop here on my blog/website, and will have a handle…. Look out for more finished work this week.
